SlicKer

We have designed our potassium silicate SlicKer as a liquid source of potassium and silica, as well as with humates. We have seen great success from this product in improving plant cell wall toughness, in fruit crops especially.

Furthermore, it increases the plants’ ability to withstand attack from insects and fungal pathogens. For example in strawberries the silicon can strenghthen the hairs on the fruit to act as a further barrier to pests. The additional humates we have added act as buffering agents to improve plant uptake of potassium silicate.
